What pickup day looks like
Come along at your confirmed time, say hello, and we'll have your hens ready to go. Bring a secure box or cage. A banana-box-sized box fits about four pullets. Pay cash or Paywave on the day, or by bank transfer beforehand. Feeders and chicken-care must-haves are available to grab while you're here.
About the girls
We supply one breed and we know it inside out: the Hy-Line Brown. Friendly, hardy laying hens that can produce around 420 eggs in the first laying season. Your point of lay pullets come to you at around 16 to 21 weeks depending on the batch, reared on our farm with room to move, good feed and solid genetics.

I'm in Tauranga or Pāpāmoa - is Te Puke my pickup?
Yes. We're about 10 minutes from Pāpāmoa East and around 25 from central Tauranga, just off State Highway 2 at Rangiuru.
Can I buy feeders and supplies at pickup?
Yes - Te Puke is our home base, so feeders and chicken-care must-haves are on hand when you collect your girls.
Do I pay when I order?
No. Ordering locks in your birds. Pay cash or Paywave on pickup day, or by bank transfer beforehand.
