What pickup day looks like
Come along at your confirmed time and we'll have your hens ready. Bring a secure box or cage. A banana-box-sized box fits about four pullets. Pay cash or Paywave on the day, or by bank transfer beforehand. Your exact pickup address, time and a Google Maps link come through in your confirmation email.
About the girls
One breed, done properly: the Hy-Line Brown. She's a friendly, reliable brown laying hen that can produce around 420 eggs in her first laying season. Your pullets arrive at point of lay, around 16 to 21 weeks depending on the batch, reared on our farm with good feed, clean surroundings and solid genetics.

When will they start laying?
