About the girls

We supply one breed and we know it well: the Hy-Line Brown. They're the friendly, hardworking brown laying hens you see in backyards all over New Zealand, and a good one can lay around 420 eggs in her first laying season. Your pullets come to you at point of lay, around 16 to 21 weeks depending on the batch, reared on our farm with room to move, good feed and solid genetics.
